Wondermom, Wonderkin’s product exclusively for babies, aims to make parenting easier, especially for first-time parents! Caring for a newborn can be overwhelming and challenging. Many parents share common concerns for their child, such as diaper rashes, tracking their baby’s health and growth, and even SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome).

Wondermom eliminates these concerns. Our product consists of a set of smart diapers, a Kini Sensor, and a Transmission Hub. Two carbon sensing lines run throughout our smart diaper’s surface, connecting to the attachable Kini Sensor. The Sensor relays information such as the baby’s posture, temperature, activity, and diaper wetness directly to the Wondermom App via Bluetooth. In the event that the carer is away, this information can be sent via WiFi by connecting to our Transmission Hub.

In January earlier this year, we started a Kickstarter campaign for Wondermom and accomplished our goal of HKD $30,000 (approx. USD $3870) with more than half of the campaign duration still left to go! Now hoping to achieve a similar outcome and gain some supportive backers, we launched an Indiegogo campaign in early June and are actively seeking out mothers worldwide who could possibly need a helping hand!

Unfortunately, Wondermom’s launch has been delayed due to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, we remain hopeful that we will be able to launch the product in the fourth quarter of this year to support parents worldwide and ship out the orders we have promised our Kickstarter and Indiegogo backers!
